Zoe Frazier
Nickname:
Hammer HeadFavorite
bike:
My favorite bike is my dad's yellow and red Cannondale road
bike. I also like the Cervelo P3 "Bike-of-Pain" time trial
bike.
Why/how
I started cycling:
My dad has cycled for many years, so I became interested.
Cycling
Goals:
I want to win trophies and more gold medals.
Cycling
History/Accomplishments:
I started riding bikes when I was five years old. I
learned how to ride without training wheels when I was six.
This past summer I grew big enough to ride a six-speed, 24-inch
wheel, mountain bike with the group. I was the youngest FC
Partner and only girl to ride from Vogel Park to Neels Gap and
back (Father's Day, 2004).
I won a gold medal in the Ironkids National Team Relay Triathlon.
Catherine Daab was our swimmer, I was our biker, and Melissa
Goodman was our runner.
Athletic
Accomplishments:
Swim team 3 years. My favorite swim stroke is "butterfly".
Fastest stroke is "back-stroke" because of cycling. I can
beat an experienced 20-year old! I ran
1 mile at 2003 Jingle Jog and the 2004 Parkinson's run. I play soccer at
school recess. I am an excellent hula-hooper.
Worst
crash:
I crashed at the start of my first one-mile time trial when my
dad let me go, I fell over and got road rash on my left knee.
Interesting
Goals:
I want to be the best girl cyclist ever.
