Our Second Round of the 2008 Individual Time Trials was held on Wednesday evening, May 7 2008, at the Shannon Way course.  Seventeen personal records and five junior age group records were set during our Second Round of three-mile individual time trials for this year.

Twenty-four kids/juniors and six adults attended the our Second Round of FC Kids/FCP 3.2-mile Time Trial at Shannon Way.   David Goodman set the overall best average speed for the night with 25.430 mph, his personal best and our Boys' 14-year-old Age Group Record.

Hunter Lydick (23.314 mph), Andrew Macrae (24.407 mph), and Zoe Frazier (22.588 mph) set personal records and age standards for the 16-year-old boys, 12-year-old boys, and 13-year-old girls, respectively.

Carrie Burke (22.903 mph) set the age standard for the 15-year-old girls.

Thanks to our timers: Coach Kelli and Steve Shore.

Thanks to our escorts: Srin Gummadi, Jerry Hartley, and Hugh Wellington.

Thanks to our recorder and traffic marshals: Yvonne Lydick, Lucy Hernandez, and Tom Tomaka.

PLEASE NOTE: Coach Kelli and I encourage all of our Juniors to participate in every 3.2-mile ITT on the schedule.  Although the time trial is excellent practice for racing, more importantly, we use the results to measure each individual's fitness and progress.
