Our sixth and seventh rounds of our 2009
Individual Time Trial Series were held on August 19, 2009 and September 9,
20009, respectively.
SIXTH ROUND - August 19, 2009
Our sixth round of the 2009 Individual Time
Trial Series was held Wednesday evening, August 19, 2009. Twenty-eight racers
(24 four kids/juniors and four adults) participated in the event. Near
perfect conditions helped lead to nineteen new personal records, six Junior Age Group Records,
and the course record.
Mike Tindol flew around the course
to set a new course standard in six minutes, 49 seconds, 28.166 mph, ranking as our
second all-time
fastest 3-mile ITT average speed.
Zoe Frazier led all women racers
with her 24.151 mph average speed, establishing a new Junior
Women's Record, and her effort ranks as our
sixteenth
all-time fastest for women.
David Goodman
set his personal record and the all-time
fastest speed for Juniors with his 27.106 mph. Andrew
Macrae set our
Boys'
13-year-old Age Group Record with his 26.979 mph. Nick
Frazier's 26.544 mph was a new
Boys'
17-year-old Age Group Record. Stephanie Cucaz established a

12) seemed to lower most of the speeds; however, six new personal
records were set.
Twenty-seven
kids/juniors and nine adults competed against the clock on the
1.6-mile circuit at
Shannon Way.
New comers to our event were Mark
Eckrote, Miguel Gonzalez, Anand Jandayala, and Jon Loureir.

eighth all-time
fastest.

AS ALWAYS, Coach Kelli and I encourage all of
our Juniors to participate in every
3.2-mile ITT on
the schedule. Although the time trial is excellent practice
for racing, more importantly, we use the results to measure each
individual's fitness and progress.
