On Wednesday, August 28, 2013, 12 FC
Kids/Juniors, and four adults participated in our third Two-Person 20-km
Relay Race of the year. These 16 cyclists were divided into 8
two-person relay teams and two races: 4 junior teams and 4 mixed teams (one junior and one adult). Each competitor rode ten laps alternating with
his/her relay partner on the 1-km course.

20-km Relay Team Results
In the mixed team division, Harrison
Nguy,
0:18:48, 19.819 mph, and Bob Heath, 0:17:21, 21.271 mph, teamed
up as winners and they had the 5th all-time best time: 0:36:19, 20.520 mph.
Megan Heath,
0:18:49, 19.802 mph, and Nick Frazier, 0:17:58, 20.738 mph,
finished 2nd with 0:36:47, 20.259 mph, the 6th all-time best for mixed
teams. Victoria Haney,
0:19:22, 19.239 mph, and Andy Lydick, 0:17:53, 20.835 mph,
finished 3rd with 0:37:15, 20.005 mph, the 8th all-time best for mixed
teams.
The top junior relay for the day was by the team of
David Heath (lead-off) and Chris Arriaza (anchor), 0:37:32,
19.854 mph. They finished in fourth place and the 11th best
all-time relay for junior teams.
