On Wednesday, April 3, 2013, 22 FC
Kids/Juniors, and six adults participated in our first Two-Person 20-km
Relay Race of the year. These 28 cyclists were divided into 14
two-person relay teams and two races: 9 junior teams, 5 mixed (one junior and one adult), and
1 adult team. Each competitor rode ten laps alternating with
his/her relay partner on the 1-km course.

20-km Relay Team Results
New records for all three team divisions
were set and several age group record were set.
Lead-off, Andy Lydick, and anchor,
David Haney set the fastest all-time
Adult Relay Team time,
which was also the fastest team time ever, 0:34:15, 21.723 mph.
The previous Adult Relay Team record was held by Beth Wellington
and Steve Shore, 0:38:24, 19.406 mph, June 20, 2007. The
previous fastest team (and the previous junior team record) was held by
the sister and brother combination of Melissa and David
Goodman, 0:37:02, 20.119 mph, June 20, 2007.
For the juniors, the team of Madeleine
Haney (lead-off) and Jonathan Cucaz (anchor) set the Junior
Relay Record, 0:34:29, 21.576 mph. In fact, the top five Junior
Relay Team times were posted, which rank as the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and
6th all-time fastest team

Also, the brother and sister junior
combination, Sam and Jane Tullis, 040:42, 18.310 mph,
ranks in the top 20 for Junior Teams.
In the mixed team division, Bob Heath,
0:18:18, 20.361 mph, and Parker Haney, 0:17:09, 21.726 mph, set a
new record: 0:35:27, 21.021 mph, which is the 7th overall fast team for
all-time. The previous mixed team record was held by
Jerry Hartley and Nick Frazier, 0:37:10, 20.050 mph, June 20,
2007. Parker's time is the 5th fastest Junior all-time.

Andy Lydick's 10-km accumulative
split, 0:16:34, 22.491 mph, ranks as the 5th all-time individual time
among adult men. David Haney's 0:17:41, 21.071 mph, ranks
6th. Hugh Wellington's blistering 0:14:55, 24.979 mph,
September 18, 2005, remains at the top of the men's leader board and our
all-time record.

second fastest 10-km accumulative time for all-time. Alexander
Dijkema's time was the 3rd all-time fastest, Fletcher Lydick
had the 5th all-time fastest.
Zoe Frazier's 10-km time ranks
as the fastest all-time for women. The adult women's record holder
is Guin Sill, 0:17:28, 21.328 mph, on July 6, 2005.
Madeleine Haney's time ranks as 4th all-time for women and
Victoria Haney's time ranks as 6th.
